Me as a Photographer

For as long as I can remember, I've been fascinted by the natural world around me. Since I first picked up a camera with intent, some 7 years ago, I've made a point to capture intimate moments in nature.  In that time, my area of photographic focus has evolved from shooting just plants, animals, landscapes and travel; to anything from sporting events, people, buildings, and machinery.  In the time I've spent using and learning my equipment, I've developed a higher appreciation for what a picture is and what it represents, which I try to portray with each click of the button.
